Notes from the Director:
I’m Dr. Reverie Berger and I’m thrilled to have joined DeSana in 2023 as your Choral Director! I taught music at the college level for the previous 15 years and am loving this exciting new adventure of teaching middle school! I have teenage boys myself, so I have been experiencing middle school music from the sidelines in recent years and am excited to now share in your musical adventures.
I started performing when I was 9 years old, and chorus, musical theater, and opera have brought me some of the greatest experiences of my life. I grew up in Southern California, but attended the University of Michigan and Manhattan School of Music for my studies, and hold bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees in music (voice performance). I have been in choirs myself for 18 years of my life and have performed in about 40 stage productions, so other than hanging out with my family, music is what I do!
I feel so lucky to be able to make music every day with our fabulous students at DeSana!
