DESANA XC
Cross Country tryouts have been rescheduled to Thursday, August 7, afternoon 4:30-5:15 pm. Please meet the coaches in the gym and bring a water bottle and a Smart watch to participate!
To participate in fall Cross Country, ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE AN UP-TO-DATE PHYSICAL on file with Dragonfly before they can participate in tryouts on Thursday August 7, 2025. PARENTS are responsible for uploading it to Dragonfly. Coaches do not have control of this!
ABOUT DESANA XC
Runners run a 2-mile course on a variety of terrain. A minimum two-mile time of 22 minutes is considered competitive. Practices are Tuesdays and Wednesdays 7:15-8:20am. Even though we practice two days a week at DeSana, runners are expected to run 25-30 miles a week. We recommend purchasing a smartwatch to help log miles and times. We will participate in a minimum of three cross-country meets. Possible meets are listed below:

To register for tryouts, please have your parents complete the DeSana XC 2025 Parent/Student Information form.
