8th Grade – Foundations of Secure Information Systems

Secure Information Systems is an exploration of impacts of computing, digital citizenship, and networks. Students will learn about data abstraction, networking hierarchies, and computing's effect on society. This is a 9-week course.

7th Grade – Foundations of Interactive Design

Interactive Design is an applications course about web development and game development. Student will learn HTML & CSS while creating webpages, and design and code retro-style games. This is a 9-week course.

6th Grade – Foundations of Computer Programming

Computer Programming is an introduction to foundational computer science topics. Students will learn about key components of modern personal computers, how to approach problem solving with Computational Thinking, and fundamental coding concepts. This is a 9-week course.

8th Grade – Advanced Computer Science

Advanced Computer Science is a project-based applications course which surveys a variety of topics across the middle school computer science standards. Topics include programming, game design, 3D modelling, and physical computing. This is an increased rigor semester-length course with an application process.
